What’s Your Major?

It’s a question you’ll hear again and again throughout your college career. So why not get a jump on finding one that will break your career options wide open?

If you’ve already chosen accounting as a major, rest assured that you made a smart decision.

Students interested in becoming CPAs should start preparing in high school through college preparatory courses. Along with computer and business courses, it is recommended that you take courses in language, science and mathematics. English courses will sharpen a student's public speaking and writing skills, which are important in all areas of the business world. Courses in mathematics will help a student's problem solving and reasoning ability.
